Royal Air Maroc Announces New Travel Restrictions and Flight Disruptions

On June 1, 2026, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) issued important advisories to its passengers regarding new entry restrictions to the United States and ongoing flight disruptions in the Middle East. These new measures are part of the American authorities' efforts to bolster health safety in response to the Ebola outbreak. Passengers who have traveled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan within the 21 days prior to their arrival in the United States are prohibited from boarding RAM flights to these destinations. However, exceptions may apply as per U.S. government guidelines, and travelers granted permission may be required to enter through designated airports and undergo enhanced health screenings upon arrival.

Royal Air Maroc has urged affected passengers to verify their travel eligibility before departing. In addition to the restrictions to the U.S., RAM has also reported that several flights to the Middle East are experiencing cancellations. The airline advises passengers not to go to the airport and to contact their original point of sale or the airline's call center to explore available options for rescheduling or refunds. Furthermore, all travelers are encouraged to check the status of their flights and update their contact information through the "Manage My Booking" section on the official RAM website.
