According to a security source, two young women filed a complaint with the local authorities, alleging they were subjected to sexual harassment while being transported in a vehicle on their way to a McDonald's restaurant located on Mohammed V Street. The source indicated that the complaint prompted the security services to initiate both field and technical investigations to identify the driver involved in the incident.
Subsequently, officers from Security District 22 were able to track down and apprehend the suspect. He was then transferred to the premises of the Public Morality Brigade at the Marrakech Police Department for further questioning. Under the instructions of the competent public prosecutor, the suspect was placed in custody while investigations continue to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident. Legal actions will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
