UAE Pavilion Attracts Over 6,000 Visitors at Marrakech Airshow 2026

The UAE Pavilion has successfully concluded its participation at the Marrakech Airshow 2026, a significant aerospace event held at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base and presided over by King Mohammed VI. This four-day event underscored the UAE's commitment to being a key player in the global aerospace and defense sector, attracting a total of 6,328 visitors throughout its duration. The pavilion was a collaborative effort supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, organized by ADNEC Group, and showcased seven national entities, including the Ministry of Defence and EDGE Group. This unified platform facilitated meaningful interactions with international organizations, industry leaders, and government representatives, accentuating the UAE's role as a trusted partner in defense innovation.

During the event, UAE companies engaged in 82 business meetings with global defense technology firms, resulting in the signing of two key agreements, including a memorandum of understanding and a commercial contract between the EDGE Group and Morocco's Administration of National Defence. The final day of the airshow witnessed a remarkable turnout with 3,100 visitors alone, marking the highest footfall on a single day. This impressive attendance reflects the growing interest in the UAE's defense and aerospace capabilities.

Looking Ahead: Future Engagements and Upcoming Exhibitions

In addition to facilitating business interactions, Capital Events, the event management division of ADNEC Group, conducted a total of 106 meetings aimed at promoting upcoming editions of significant defense exhibitions, including the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defence Conference (IDC), and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), scheduled for January 2027. The enthusiasm for these events indicates a promising future, with expectations of unprecedented participation from exhibitors and visitors alike. Following the successful conclusion of the Marrakech Airshow, the UAE Pavilion is set to continue its roadshow, with plans to participate in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) in Jordan, reinforcing the UAE's ongoing engagement with the international defense and aerospace community. This proactive approach not only highlights the UAE's defense capabilities but also aims to attract wider participation in future events, solidifying its position as a leader in the sector.
