The UAE Pavilion is set to enhance the country's global leadership in defense innovation and collaboration within the aviation and space sectors. It plays a crucial role in creating high-value export opportunities by connecting national companies with buyers, investors, and strategic partners worldwide.

Beginning tomorrow, the UAE national pavilion will participate in the Marrakech Airshow 2026, one of the most significant events in the aviation and space sector in Morocco. Taking place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, this event is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The airshow will showcase the latest developments in civil and military aviation, as well as space exploration, featuring static displays of aircraft, high-level business meetings among companies, and a specialized conference program that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and international delegations.

The pavilion is supported by the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Economic Council, organized by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of ADQ, placing the national defense sector at the heart of one of the world's leading gatherings for the aviation and space industries, which attracts over 250 high-level civilian and military delegations from around the globe.

The Tawazun Economic Council will have a prominent presence at the exhibition as part of its strategy to empower the UAE's defense sector, expand international partnerships, and enhance industrial cooperation. As the national enabling entity that translates the UAE’s defense and security priorities into institutional, industrial, and economic outcomes, the Tawazun Economic Council oversees the pavilion's program at the Marrakech Airshow 2026 in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. This collaboration helps national companies access international markets and build strategic partnerships. The council's responsibilities include defense procurement, industrial localization, and developing a resilient defense industrial base. Concurrently, the council leads research, development, and innovation efforts across government entities, the industrial sector, and academic institutions, supporting the UAE’s long-term ambition to build a future-ready national defense ecosystem.

The pavilion will showcase a selection of leading Emirati entities in the fields of defense, aviation, and space, including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group (MLG), and Resource Industries, alongside the military magazines "Soldier" and "Nation Shield." This highlights the advanced defense capabilities of the UAE and reinforces its position as a reliable global partner in aviation and space innovation and industrial cooperation.

Moreover, the pavilion serves as a strategic platform for national companies to showcase their advanced solutions and next-generation technologies to buyers, investors, and strategic partners from around the world. This outreach expands their access to key international markets in Africa, Europe, and beyond, creating high-value export opportunities.

Additionally, the pavilion acts as a global center for high-level communication and strategic dialogue, bringing together governments, industry leaders, and strategic partners to collaborate, exchange expertise, and build impactful partnerships, reaffirming the UAE's commitment to developing international cooperation and enhancing global security.

Through its active participation in several specialized international exhibitions this year, the pavilion promotes the upcoming 2027 editions of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defense Conference (IDC), and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX). It provides a platform for sector leaders to connect, adopt the latest technologies, and explore new avenues for collaboration.

EDGE Group will showcase capabilities based on three operational advantages: situational awareness, operational execution, and precision impact across various levels. The group's air and ground surveillance systems allow operators to maintain continuous awareness of conditions along borders, coastlines, and critical infrastructure, while counter-drone systems and electronic protection capabilities disrupt control links and navigation signals of hostile unmanned aerial vehicles while preserving the positioning and communication capabilities of friendly forces in contested electromagnetic environments. EDGE's precision systems portfolio includes loitering munitions, guided glide weapons, and precision-guided munitions, all ensuring accurate strikes from safe distances, whether GPS-enabled or not, supported by multi-layered air defense systems and munitions produced within a single industrial base.

Generation 5 Holding will also participate in the UAE national pavilion at the Marrakech Airshow 2026, showcasing a range of products and capabilities, including aerial systems, air defense, unmanned systems, and missiles, along with ground platforms equipped with advanced air defense capabilities. The company emphasizes its advanced manufacturing capabilities, which include the development, manufacturing, and integration of platforms and systems, as well as the production of components and sub-assemblies used in various defense systems. Its participation facilitates interaction with sector leaders, relevant government entities, manufacturers, and decision-makers, exploring strategic cooperation opportunities and continuing expansion in regional and international markets.

Furthermore, Multi Level Group (MLG) will highlight the capabilities of its Advanced Mobility Hub (AMH), a subsidiary that specializes in advanced aerial mobility, based in Abu Dhabi. The hub operates two leading aircraft in their categories: the EH216-S from EHang, the world's first electric vertical takeoff and landing drone for passenger transport to receive the full set of model, production, and airworthiness certifications, and the HEXA from LIFT Aircraft, a personal electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that leads in the light sport aviation category.

Alongside these two aircraft, the hub showcases unmanned aerial systems dedicated to surveillance, inspection, and emergency response, as well as the infrastructure for vertiports, and a precise location and operational control layer that enables these platforms to fly safely within the national airspace. Collectively, these capabilities form an operational infrastructure for advanced aerial mobility serving government missions, civil protection, and vital services.

Resource Industries presents a suite of advanced systems and solutions, including unmanned aerial systems and armored ground vehicles, featuring the V15 and V42 unmanned aerial systems, the H500 unmanned cargo aircraft for heavy payload transport, and the MOREB family of armored vehicles, which includes mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles, armored personnel carriers (APCs), and light strike and reconnaissance vehicles (LSRVs), along with electronic warfare (EW) systems.

The "Nation Shield" magazine, the official publication of the UAE Ministry of Defense, will also join the participants at the pavilion. Founded in 1971, the magazine is published monthly in Arabic and English and has been a long-standing media partner for major international exhibitions, including IDEX, UMEX (Unmanned Systems Exhibition), and ISNR (International Security and National Resilience), providing official coverage for their daily publications.

Additionally, the "Soldier" magazine, a military and cultural publication from the UAE Ministry of Defense, will participate in the pavilion, covering defense exhibitions and conferences, military affairs, new weapon systems, and conducting interviews with senior military leaders and sector executives. It has previously featured the Marrakech Airshow in its ongoing coverage of key regional and international defense events.

Visitors can explore the latest innovations from the UAE in defense, aviation, and space while engaging with top sector leaders and experiencing cutting-edge solutions at exhibition platforms K1 and J3 from October 7 to 10.
