Abu Dhabi is set to highlight the advanced manufacturing and technological capabilities of the United Arab Emirates at the Marrakech Airshow 2026, taking place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The UAE's national pavilion is supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Empowerment Council, and organized by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of ADNEC Cities.
This initiative is part of the UAE's national pavilion program at international defense and specialized exhibitions, overseen by the Defense Empowerment Council in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. The aim is to assist national defense and aerospace industries in accessing global markets and forging partnerships with international entities and organizations. The ADNEC Group is managing the pavilion at the exhibition, leveraging its expertise in organizing national participation in specialized international exhibitions. The national pavilion will feature a unified platform that includes prominent entities such as EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, Resource Industries, and the magazines "The Soldier" and "Nation Shield," facilitating interaction between participating companies and international buyers, industry leaders, government representatives, and military delegations.
The exhibition will also see a significant presence from the Defense Empowerment Council, reflecting its strategy to strengthen the national defense sector, expand international partnerships, and enhance industrial collaboration. The companies under the pavilion will showcase their capabilities in areas such as defense systems, aviation, autonomous platforms, and advanced technologies, underscoring the growing presence of the UAE within the global defense industrial base.
Moreover, the pavilion's active participation in several international specialized exhibitions throughout the year will promote the upcoming editions of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) 2027, the International Defense Conference, and the naval defense and security exhibition (NAVDEX), providing a platform for industry leaders to engage, deploy cutting-edge technologies, and explore new avenues for cooperation.
Throughout the duration of the Marrakech Airshow 2026, the UAE's national pavilion will offer visitors an opportunity to explore the showcased capabilities and connect with participating national entities.
The Marrakech Airshow is a biennial event that has evolved since its inception in 2008 to become the premier aviation and aerospace event in Morocco, attracting over 250 high-level civilian and military delegations from around the globe.
