UAE Pavilion Achievements at Marrakech Airshow 2026

The National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates has successfully concluded its participation at the Marrakech Airshow 2026, showcasing a diverse range of exhibitors including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group (MLG), Resource Industries, and the magazines Dar Al Watan and Soldier. The final day of the exhibition was particularly noteworthy, as UAE companies engaged in a total of eight meetings with representatives from global entities specializing in defense technologies and international organizations.

On an individual basis, EDGE Group conducted two meetings, while Generation 5 Holding held one, Multi Level Group organized two meetings, and Resource Industries concluded three meetings. The pavilion witnessed remarkable attendance, welcoming 3,100 visitors on the last day alone, marking the highest daily footfall recorded throughout the event, bringing the total number of visitors over the four days to an impressive 6,328.

Future Events and International Interest

Throughout the four days of the exhibition, Capital Events, a subsidiary of ADNEC Group, conducted 58 meetings promoting upcoming editions of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defense Conference (IDC), and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), scheduled to take place from January 25 to 29, 2027. This upcoming edition is anticipated to be the largest in the history of these events.

Additionally, Capital Events organized 29 further meetings to promote the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) 2028, alongside 19 meetings to promote the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR). This reflects a growing international interest in Abu Dhabi's portfolio of defense and security events. The substantial interest garnered at the Marrakech Airshow 2026 reinforces the global standing of events like IDEX, NAVDEX, and ISNR, as numerous exhibitors, industry leaders, and defense companies have expressed their eagerness to participate in the 2027 editions.

Besides Marrakech, the UAE's national pavilion will continue its 2026 tour with scheduled participations in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) in Jordan.
