UD Las Palmas Plans Charter Flight to Face Ceuta
This weekend, the UD Las Palmas football team is gearing up for one of its most challenging away matches of the season. The team will be leaving Gran Canaria for a brief period of just over 36 hours to compete against AD Ceuta. In a move reminiscent of last season, the club has chosen a charter flight to Morocco, opting for comfort amid the ongoing tensions between Morocco and Ceuta.
Similar to the previous year, the team will fly directly to Morocco and then make a road trip to Ceuta. Last season, however, players Edward Cedeño and Miloš Luković faced bureaucratic hurdles that required them to take a detour through Málaga before arriving in Ceuta. This year, the team hopes to avoid such complications.
After the match scheduled for Saturday at 18:00 in the Alfonso Murube stadium, the team will head straight to the airport in Tangier, Morocco, to board another charter flight back to Gran Canaria, expected to land around 04:00 on Sunday morning.
