Jordan's Under-18 Women's Volleyball Team Secures Victory Against Morocco
The national under-18 women's volleyball team of Jordan achieved a remarkable victory on Sunday, defeating their Moroccan counterparts with a score of 3-1 during their second match in the inaugural Arab Championship for women under 18. This prestigious tournament is currently being held at the King Hussein Youth City sports hall.
Despite a rocky start where the team lost the first set 20-25, they made a powerful comeback, winning the next three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-22, thus marking their second consecutive win in the championship. Earlier, the national team had kicked off their tournament journey with an impressive victory against Bahrain, winning 3-0 with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, and 25-12.
The Jordanian team is set to face Egypt on Monday at 7 PM, followed by a match against Palestine on Wednesday at the same time. The tournament features seven competing nations, including Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco, playing in a single round-robin format.
