In a post shared on his personal social media platform, X, the American diplomat expressed his admiration for the red city, describing the medina and the famous Jamaa el-Fna square as some of the most captivating places in the world. He emphasized that Morocco is replete with unique landmarks, stunning vistas, and distinctive sounds, showcasing the country's vibrant culture and history.
This visit to Marrakech was part of Landau's official trip to Morocco last week, during which he held important meetings in Rabat. Notably, he engaged in discussions with Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, as well as a meeting with the Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch. These dialogues are pivotal in strengthening the bilateral relations between the United States and Morocco, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation and mutual respect.
