Weather Conditions Expected on Thursday
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released its weather forecast for Thursday, indicating that the weather will generally be characterized by relatively warm to locally hot conditions, particularly in the southeastern regions and the desert areas of Morocco. Residents can expect low-lying clouds to form, accompanied by patches of fog or very light rain along the northern Atlantic coast, the Saïss region, the Mediterranean coast, and the southern provinces of the country.
Furthermore, thunderstorms are anticipated in the High Atlas, southeastern regions, and southern parts of the eastern region, with rain showers expected over the Middle Atlas accompanied by thunder. Moderate to somewhat strong winds are likely to sweep through the central coastal areas and southern provinces, potentially leading to localized dust storms.
Temperature-wise, minimum readings will range between 11 and 16 degrees Celsius in the Atlas mountains and Rif regions, while southern provinces and southeastern areas will see temperatures between 23 and 29 degrees Celsius. The remaining regions of the country are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 17 to 24 degrees Celsius. During the day, temperatures across the kingdom are expected to decrease.
As for sea conditions, it will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, while it is anticipated to be rough to very rough between Casablanca and Tarfaya. Other coastal areas will experience slightly choppy to rough seas.
