This match is part of the 16th round of the professional league, and the team is eager to maintain their competitive edge in the tournament.
The roster features notable players including Mehdi Benabid, Omar Akzdaw, Mohamed Mofid, and Brazilian Guillermo Ferreira, among others. However, the team will be missing key players due to injuries, including Abdelali Mohamed, Walid Sabbar, Hamza Al-Wasiti, and Amin Aboul Fattah. Fortunately, Ayoub Bouchtah is set to return after recovering from an injury that kept him out of the last two matches against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi and FC Fès.
Currently, Wydad Athletic Club occupies the second spot in the professional league standings with 31 points, trailing just one point behind the leaders, Royal Army and FC Fès, who share the same point total but hold the top position.
