Laura Giurcanu's Bold Move: From Bucharest to Casablanca

Laura Giurcanu's Transition from Bucharest to Casablanca

Laura Giurcanu, a former athlete and contestant from Survivor, is making significant changes in her life as she prepares to celebrate her 30th birthday this December. Currently in a relationship with Marian Huja, a defender for Raja Casablanca, Laura has decided to leave her expensive apartment in Bucharest and move to a more affordable living space. She plans to sell her Mercedes car as part of her lifestyle transformation. Dividing her time between Bucharest and Casablanca, where her boyfriend plays for one of Morocco's most prestigious football clubs, Laura aims to streamline her life ahead of the new year.

In her recent social media updates, Laura has shared her intentions of relocating to a beloved area where she has previously lived. She expressed her desire to start the new year fresh by organizing her life. "I intend to put my car up for sale… I want to get organized before I turn 30 and before the New Year so that I can have a fresh start for the coming year. I'm moving back to a place that holds a special significance to me… It’s where I moved from after purchasing my apartment," Laura mentioned.

Having spent the last few weeks in Romania, Laura is eager to shift to a smaller and more economical apartment, as she finds herself in Bucharest less frequently. She elaborated, "In the upcoming weeks, I will be moving again… I’m downsizing to a smaller and cheaper apartment because, although my current place is beautiful and well-located, it is also quite pricey. Given that my time is split between Bucharest and Casablanca, maintaining such a large space doesn’t make sense, and I want to reorganize my life a bit." This decision reflects not only her current lifestyle needs but also her commitment to managing her resources wisely.

Laura has had notable relationships in the past, including with personalities such as Dani Oțil and BRomania, as well as Alex Târnovan, a former footballer with FCSB. Meanwhile, her partner Marian Huja has begun his African adventure after transferring from CFR Cluj to Raja Casablanca in August 2026, with a transfer fee reported at 350,000 euros. Having made 13 appearances for his previous team, Huja is now looking to make his mark in Moroccan football, where he is valued at approximately 1.5 million euros.
