United Airlines Enhances Non-Stop Connectivity between Marrakech and New York
In an exciting development for travelers in Morocco, United Airlines has confirmed the enhancement of its seasonal non-stop service connecting Marrakech to New York/Newark for the 2026-2027 period. This upgrade marks a substantial increase of over 37% in seat availability, allowing for a more robust travel experience. The flights are scheduled to resume on October 25, 2026, and will extend the service until May 26, 2027, nearly two months longer than previous seasons.
The airline's announcement highlights its commitment to providing the highest seat capacity ever offered from Marrakech, thereby extending its seasonal service more than any other airline currently does between the city and the United States. United Airlines will also maintain its status as the only carrier offering direct flights from Marrakech to the New York metropolitan area, which is a significant advantage for travelers seeking convenient access to this bustling region.
This enhancement comes just two years after the inauguration of the Marrakech-New York/Newark route in October 2024. As noted in the announcement, this route plays a vital role in United's African network, which also includes non-stop flights from Cape Town to New York/Newark and Washington, D.C., as well as services from Johannesburg to New York/Newark, and from Accra and Lagos to Washington, D.C.

The strengthening of services between Marrakech and the United States is part of United's most extensive international expansion in history, which includes ten new cities and three new routes in Europe and Asia. Starting March 2027, the airline plans to introduce service to ten new cities in Europe and Asia, eight of which are not served by any other American airline.
Travelers can expect flights between Marrakech and New York/Newark to be operated using Boeing 767-300 and Boeing 767-400 aircraft, configured for premium experiences, featuring an expanded United PolarisSM business class cabin and United Premium PlusSM cabin.
