Broadcast Details for the 2026 FIFA World Cup: ORF and ServusTV Share Coverage

Broadcast Rights and Key Matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

The ORF and ServusTV have reached an agreement to evenly distribute the broadcast of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches occurring in Canada, Mexico, and the USA. Each channel will showcase 52 live matches, providing extensive coverage for football fans. Notably, the ORF will air the opening match and the final, alongside two group stage matches featuring the Austrian national team. Among these, the most anticipated encounter for the ÖFB team during the group stages will be a prime-time clash against Argentina, scheduled for June 22 at 19:00.

However, the timing of the other matches involving Austria may not be as favorable. The team's match against Jordan will kick off early in the morning on June 17 at 06:00, while their game against Algeria is set for an even earlier start at 04:00 on June 28. If Austria advances beyond the group stages, ServusTV will broadcast their Round of 16 match.

Should Ralf Rangnick's team continue its journey through the tournament, ORF will cover all subsequent knockout stage matches. During the semifinals, ORF will have the option to select which game to feature, while ServusTV will air the other semifinal match, the third-place playoff, and two quarterfinal matches.
