Department Manager Position (Young Graduates) – Nationwide
The Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of their assigned section within the hypermarket, ensuring that sales and profitability targets are achieved. The sections include various departments such as groceries, bakery, butcher, fishmonger, fresh produce, household items, textiles, and more.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensuring the 4Ps of marketing are effectively applied within the section: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.
- Driving sales and developing the section based on set objectives (revenue, margin, stock).
- Adhering to the company's commercial policies.
- Creating a positive image for the section and fostering customer loyalty.
- Organizing team activities and providing close management support.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bac+5 degree.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the retail sector.
- Ability to define margins, set prices, and manage product assortments effectively.
- Expertise in maintaining low stock levels while managing orders efficiently.
- Capability to propose actions for improving results.
- Demonstrated autonomy, responsiveness, interpersonal skills, and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to relocate nationally.
