The Egyptian team showcased a strong performance, with all three goals scored during the first half. The goals were netted by Karim Bambo, Mohammed Hashem, and Moataz Taneen in the 8th, 23rd, and 41st minutes, respectively. However, the match was not without its challenges, as the Moroccan referee issued red cards to two Egyptian players, Abdul Rahim Daghoum and Salah Mohsen, in the final minutes due to an altercation with some players from the visiting team, leaving the Egyptian side to finish the match with just nine players.
