Casablanca Marathon Set to Celebrate "Vibe Casa" in 2026

The highly anticipated 17th edition of the Casablanca Marathon is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2026, promising a celebration of the city’s spirit under the theme "Vibe Casa." This year’s event, organized under the royal patronage, aims to enhance the sporting and international profile of Casablanca. The marathon is being hosted for the second consecutive year by the Association of Runners of Greater Casablanca (ACGC), with support from local authorities.

Participants can look forward to three exhilarating events: a full marathon covering 42.195 kilometers, a half-marathon of 21.097 kilometers, and a relay race of 4 x 10.5 kilometers. These courses will weave through several iconic sites in Casablanca, including major thoroughfares, urban heritage spots, and the stunning coastal front, providing runners with a scenic backdrop as they compete.

To elevate the experience, the marathon will feature concerts and entertainment, inviting local residents to engage with this vibrant sporting event. A dedicated Marathon Village will be open to athletes, families, and the general public in the week leading up to the race, offering opportunities for interaction and a variety of activities.

Recognized with the Elite label from World Athletics, this edition aims for a record number of participants, welcoming both Moroccan athletes and elite international runners. Clubs and sports enthusiasts from the Casablanca-Settat region will also be mobilized to ensure a successful event.
