Join Us for Raíces Vol. 3: A Celebration of Cuban Culture in Marrakech
On October 10, 2026, immerse yourself in the lively sounds and flavors of Cuba as the Raíces event returns for its third installment at the stunning M Rooftop by Medina Heritage, located in the heart of Marrakech's medina, with breathtaking views of the Koutoubia Mosque. This year’s edition promises to be even more enchanting, featuring a candlelit dinner complemented by live music, making it a perfect evening for both locals and visitors alike.
The evening is thoughtfully divided into three distinct segments, catering to all tastes and preferences. Kicking off at 6:30 PM, the event starts with a 90-minute salsa masterclass led by the talented Ben, welcoming participants of all skill levels and requiring no partner. Following this invigorating session, attendees can enjoy a delightful dinner from 8:00 to 9:30 PM, featuring a unique fusion menu combining Cuban and Moroccan cuisines, all set in a romantic ambiance enhanced by the enchanting melodies of Junes, a singer and guitarist performing alongside a trio, including saxophone and percussion. Finally, from 9:30 PM until midnight, the festivities will continue with DJ Shedu spinning a vibrant mix of salsa, son cubano, timba, and bachata on the upper rooftop, ensuring that the dance floor remains lively and inviting.
Guests have the flexibility to choose from four different packages to tailor their experience: "La Noche," which includes a dance party and one drink for 250 MAD; "Bailar," which combines the masterclass and the evening party for 350 MAD; "La Mesa," which offers the live dinner and party for 550 MAD; and the complete experience, "Raíces," for 650 MAD. It’s important to note that online ticket sales will close at midnight on October 9, and any purchases made at the venue will incur an additional fee of 50 MAD. Given the popularity of the masterclass, it is limited to just 35 participants, so early booking is highly recommended.
