Rapper 'Boz Flow' Faces Serious Allegations After Ex-Wife's Complaint
The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Sefrou Court has decided to refer rapper Jawad Asrari, known artistically as 'Boz Flow', to trial while he remains in pre-trial detention. This decision follows a complaint filed by his ex-wife after his arrest yesterday in the city of Imouzzer Kandar.
Informed sources disclosed that the Public Prosecutor's Office ordered 'Boz Flow' to be placed in Sefrou's local prison following his presentation before authorities earlier today. The first session of his trial is scheduled to commence on August 13.
According to reports from the newspaper 'Al-Diyar', the rapper is confronted with a series of serious charges, including the dissemination of false claims and allegations intended to infringe on the private lives of individuals and defame them, as claimed by his ex-wife. Additional charges include public insults and defamation directed at a woman due to her gender, as well as threats made against his ex-spouse.
'Boz Flow' was apprehended yesterday in Imouzzer Kandar based on the allegations put forth by his former wife, who accuses him of defamation and slander through the lyrics of one of his songs.
This marks the rapper's return to prison, having previously served a sentence there due to the content of his songs. That case concluded with a preliminary and appellate conviction resulting in a three-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 2,000 dirhams.
