Inwi, a leading telecommunications operator, has officially launched the second edition of its "Fiber Optic Caravan" in Agadir, aimed at enhancing the skills of professionals in the real estate and construction sectors. Following the success of its inaugural edition, this caravan will tour several cities across Morocco, including upcoming stops in Casablanca and Tangier, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among industry stakeholders.

The primary objective of this initiative is to expedite the integration of fiber optic technology into new constructions, thereby democratizing access to high-speed internet throughout Morocco. This year, the caravan will place a strong emphasis on training and raising awareness among industry professionals. Each event will feature roundtable discussions and workshops focused on the technical and regulatory challenges associated with telecommunication infrastructures, as well as best practices for deploying fiber optic networks. The ultimate goal is to ensure that new homeowners are equipped with fast, scalable, and tailored internet connections right from their move-in date.

Strengthening Partnerships and Knowledge Sharing

The Agadir leg of the caravan was themed "The Dynamics of the Real Estate Market in Agadir and the Challenges of the New Regulatory Framework on Fiber Optics," bringing together key players from the construction, real estate, and architecture sectors. Discussions revolved around the evolving regulations and their implications for new construction projects. This event also marked the signing of a partnership agreement between Inwi and Moubina Immobilier, aimed at reinforcing the role of fiber optics in new developments and promoting increasingly connected living spaces. Additionally, a second agreement was established with the Southern Regional Council of Architects.

After Agadir, the caravan will continue its journey to Casablanca and Tangier, where it intends to bridge expertise, share experiences, and support professionals in adapting to evolving practices. This new edition builds upon the success of the previous national tour, which mobilized industry professionals around the challenges of integrating fiber optics into new constructions, facilitating dialogue, and creating several strategic partnerships within the ecosystem.

Through this initiative, Inwi reaffirms its commitment to democratizing access to high-speed internet on a national scale while positioning itself as a partner for real estate and construction professionals, aiding in the development of ever more connected cities and buildings.
