Morocco's Strong Stance Against Aggression

During the session, which was attended by Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the IAEA, Farhan reiterated Morocco's unwavering solidarity with the UAE and its legitimate right to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents. He referenced the firm positions expressed by King Mohammed VI regarding the attacks on the UAE since the onset of the conflict. Furthermore, Farhan praised the UAE’s prompt and transparent communication regarding the impact of the attack and the successful measures undertaken to mitigate its effects, ensuring that radiation levels around the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant remained within normal parameters.
Farhan also acknowledged the ongoing efforts of UAE authorities to ensure the safe, secure, and peaceful operation of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, which operates under IAEA safeguards and adheres to the highest international standards. He welcomed the continued coordination between the IAEA and relevant Emirati authorities.
