ONCF Unveils Special Summer 2026 Plan with Enhanced Services and Discounts for Travelers

Comprehensive Plan for Summer 2026 Travel

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has unveiled its ambitious "Summer 2026 Special Plan," aimed at accommodating the expected surge in passenger numbers across the national railway network during the summer season. This extensive initiative will be implemented from June 22 to September 13, 2026, mobilizing all human, technical, and operational resources to ensure millions of travelers, including Moroccan expatriates and tourists, can travel under optimal conditions of comfort, fluidity, safety, and accessibility. This announcement underscores ONCF's commitment to enhancing the travel experience during one of the busiest times of the year.

Robust Transport Services and Affordable Pricing

To meet the anticipated demand, ONCF will operate 237 trains daily, significantly increasing the frequency of services on major routes and popular destinations. This strategic move is designed to ensure travelers have ample seating availability and a comfortable journey, catering to the exceptional influx expected this summer. The Al Boraq service will feature 30 trains per day operating between 6 AM and 10 PM, facilitating regular hourly connections among Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca while expanding seating capacity during peak times. Additionally, the Al Atlas trains will run 70 times daily, catering to the rising summer travel needs and connecting various locations across the Kingdom, including enhanced long-distance night services on the Tangier-Oujda route. Furthermore, 36 daily rapid shuttle trains will connect Mohammed V Airport with Casablanca, providing hourly services from 6 AM to 11 PM, ensuring uninterrupted service continuity on routes such as Casablanca-Rabat-Kenitra, Casablanca-Settat, and Casablanca-El Jadida.

In a bid to make travel more accessible, ONCF is launching a series of targeted promotional offers tailored for diverse traveler categories. A total of 250,000 YALLA AL ATLAS tickets will be available at a promotional rate of 49 DH, provided reservations are made in advance. The digital SAYFI Pass will offer a 30% discount and allow unlimited travel for up to ten journeys on Al Boraq, Al Atlas, and TNR trains outside of peak hours. Additionally, the Ahlan Family offer is designed specifically for Moroccan expatriates and their families, providing a 30% discount alongside free travel for children. This offer is valid for journeys from Mohammed V Airport, Tangier, and Marrakech to cities throughout the Kingdom. A new 31-59 age discount card will also be introduced, giving this age group a 15% reduction on Al Boraq and Al Atlas tickets, while group travelers can enjoy discounts of up to 25%.

Moreover, thanks to various partnerships, ONCF customers can enjoy discounts of up to 30% at the Rabat Zoo, situated near the Rabat Riad station, and on the Train + Auto service upon presenting their travel tickets. ONCF is also committed to enhancing customer support, providing robust assistance and guidance both at stations and aboard trains. Technical teams will be on standby 24/7 to ensure smooth traffic flow and quality service. To facilitate travel planning, ONCF encourages customers to gather information ahead of their trips, consider round-trip tickets, and prioritize purchasing tickets in advance through digital channels to avoid long queues at stations. Travelers can easily buy tickets online at "www.oncf-voyages.ma" or via the "ONCF VOYAGES" mobile app. Tickets are also available at station counters, partner sales agencies, and through Ticket Vending Machines (DAT). Customers are invited to check train schedules throughout the summer via ONCF's official channels, including the merchant website, the mobile app, the Customer Relations Center at 2255 (local call costs), the M’ONCF Chatbot at 06.67.65.22.55, and the WhatsApp channel at "https://bit.ly/461PfEu".
