Under-18 Women's National Volleyball Team Triumphs Over Morocco
The Under-18 Women's National Volleyball Team of Jordan achieved a remarkable victory against Morocco, clinching the match with a score of 3-1 during the second round of the inaugural Arab championship for women under 18 years old. The event is currently hosted at the Prince Sports Hall in the city of Hussein for youth. After a challenging start, where the Jordanian team lost the first set 20-25, they demonstrated incredible resilience and skill by securing the subsequent three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-22. This victory marks their second consecutive win in the tournament.
Earlier, the national team kicked off their championship journey with an impressive performance against Bahrain, winning decisively with a score of 3-0, showcasing their strength with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, and 25-12. The team is scheduled to play their next match against Egypt on Monday at 7 PM, followed by a clash with Palestine on Wednesday at the same time.
Seven teams are participating in this championship, including Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco, competing in a round-robin format. The tournament aims to foster sportsmanship and talent development among young female athletes across the region.
