However, Ebnoutalib clarified that his decision to play for Germany was not a rejection of Morocco; he cherishes both countries as part of his identity and continues to support Morocco wholeheartedly.
Klopp's influence played a pivotal role in Ebnoutalib's decision to join the DFB. Earlier in September, Klopp had visited the Eintracht Frankfurt training facility, where the discussions about the national team first emerged. Ebnoutalib praised Klopp as one of the best coaches in the world, stating that the positive energy he brings is infectious. He expressed enthusiasm at the thought of playing under Klopp's guidance, indicating that when Klopp calls, one must answer.
