Wydad Témara Triumphs in Inaugural Mohamed Timoumi Cup

The Wydad Témara football club has emerged victorious in the inaugural edition of the Mohamed Timoumi Cup, a friendly tournament held in Rabat, organized by the UTS. This event featured the participation of four prominent clubs: Union Touarga, Raja de Casablanca, Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, and Wydad Témara.

Throughout the competition, Wydad Témara demonstrated remarkable skill, finishing with a total of 8 points. The team secured decisive victories against both Raja de Casablanca and Union Touarga, showcasing their strength and teamwork. However, they faced a setback in their final match against Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, which resulted in their only loss in the tournament.

Raja de Casablanca also concluded the tournament with 8 points, yet they had to settle for second place. The club's position was determined by the head-to-head results against Wydad Témara, which ultimately favored their rivals. This friendly tournament not only highlighted the competitive spirit among the teams but also served as an excellent opportunity for them to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the upcoming Botola Pro season, set to commence on September 24th.
