Adapting Train Services in Marrakech
In an effort to enhance the infrastructure of the high-speed rail line connecting Kénitra to Marrakech, the National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced temporary alterations to the operations of the Al Atlas trains from April 21 to April 23, 2026. During this period, the terminal for these trains will be exceptionally relocated to the Sidi Ibrahim station. Passengers will be accommodated by shuttle buses that will ensure seamless transfers to the vibrant city of Marrakech and vice versa. This arrangement is designed to maintain connectivity for travelers while construction work is ongoing.
The substitution service will operate according to adjusted schedules that align with the arrivals and departures of the trains, aiming to minimize any disruptions to passenger travel. Regular train services are expected to resume on Friday, April 24, 2026. The ONCF encourages all travelers to plan their journeys in advance and to check for the latest updates through various channels, including the ONCF travel website, the ONCF Voyages mobile application, or the customer relations center reachable at 2255. This proactive approach is designed to ensure that passengers are well-informed and can navigate their travel plans with ease.
