Rabat Business School Earns International Triple Crown Accreditation
Rabat Business School (RBS), the management school of the International University of Rabat (UIR), has secured a remarkable achievement by obtaining the prestigious "Triple Crown" accreditation. This accolade signifies that RBS holds the three most esteemed international accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. This extraordinary accomplishment places RBS among an elite group, as less than 1% of business schools worldwide can boast this distinction.
With this recognition, Rabat Business School becomes the first management school in Morocco and the Francophone African region to achieve such a level of excellence, and it ranks fifth on the African continent. The award was celebrated during a ceremony held in Rabat, attended by key figures from both UIR and RBS, which emphasized the institution's dedication to quality education, innovative teaching methods, internationalization, and successful career placement of its graduates.
Noureddine Mouaddib, the president of UIR, expressed that this milestone is the culmination of efforts initiated in 2014 aimed at aligning the university's programs with the highest international standards. This accreditation is expected to enhance the university's appeal to international students, particularly those from Europe, America, and Asia.
Furthermore, Nicolas Arnaud, the dean of Rabat Business School, noted that this achievement highlights the capability of African institutions to compete with top-tier global educational establishments. The attainment of the Triple Crown comes at a time when RBS is making significant strides in international rankings, having recently entered the Top 10 in the Financial Times ranking for Masters in Management. This positions RBS as a prominent reference in global management education.
RBS first received AACSB accreditation in 2020, followed by EQUIS in 2025. The recent acquisition of AMBA accreditation, which assesses the quality and impact of MBA and Executive MBA programs, completes this trajectory of excellence in under six years.
