Prestigia Celebrates the Inauguration of 'La Lagune'
On Saturday, October 17, Prestigia hosted a spectacular evening that brought together over 100 musicians from seven ensembles of the Anthology of Ala music, alongside 23 international artists from 13 different countries. This grand celebration marked the official launch of 'La Lagune', a new residential sector within the 'Rabat Riviera Golf Living' project, strategically positioned between Rabat and Kenitra.
According to a statement from the organizers, the event featured a collective performance of Moroccan Andalusian music. Renowned maestros such as Mohamed Briouel, Mohamed Amine Debbi, Omar Metioui, Mohamed Amine El Akrami, Jamal Eddine Benallal, and Abdelmalek El Othmani directed the Moroccan ensembles, while Adnane Matrone and David Navarro Torres supervised the international artists.
The evening was inspired by the Anthology of the Art of Ala, initiated by Anas Sefrioui, president of the Addoha group, in partnership with the Association of Andalusian Music Enthusiasts in Morocco. This ambitious project is a culmination of several years of hard work, compiling over 130 hours of recordings and integrating efforts for documentation and transcription to preserve and transmit this invaluable cultural heritage.
The launch event coincided with the unveiling of 'La Lagune', an open space facing the ocean that includes villas, apartments, an 18-hole golf course, as well as sports, recreational, and commercial facilities. The site will also host educational establishments, including the ESSEC business school campus and Atlas Schools. Future developments are expected to include new commercial and leisure spaces alongside hotel infrastructures.
